Starlight Karaoke does not host, store, or upload any audio or video. The Service is an interface that embeds third-party videos through YouTube’s official IFrame Player. All media is hosted and served by YouTube. Because we do not store the underlying files, the most effective way to remove a video from circulation is to contact YouTube directly through YouTube’s copyright complaint process; removing or restricting a video on YouTube removes it from this Service automatically.

Removing a link from our catalogue

If you are a rights holder (or authorised agent) and believe a link featured in our curated catalogue should not be listed, we will promptly remove that link from our catalogue upon a valid request. Note that this removes the listing only; it does not affect the video on YouTube.

Submitting a notice

To request removal of a catalogue listing, send the following to our designated contact:

identification of the copyrighted work and the specific catalogue link at issue;
your contact information (name, email, address);
a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf;
your physical or electronic signature.

Counter-notice

If a listing was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice with equivalent identifying information and a good-faith statement. We will consider valid counter-notices.

Repeat infringers

We may remove listings and restrict access for users who repeatedly submit infringing links to the Service.

Designated contact

This Service acts only as a conduit/embedder of third-party content and intends to qualify for the safe-harbour protections available to such intermediaries under applicable law, including the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and its rules.
